From discarded ghost nets to minuscule microplastics released during washing, our planet is facing a plastic crisis. <\/span>8 million plastic pieces<\/span><\/strong> find their way in to our seas every single day! That's why our products are made from natural materials, powered by renewable energy and delivered in plastic-free packaging. Using natural materials means no nasty plastic microfibres are released into the ocean when washed.<\/span><\/p>

For every order made during our One Tee One Kg<\/strong> promotion this weekend, a kilogram of ocean-bound plastic is recovered and recycled - the equivalent of 50 plastic bottles. We count the orders and each one funds plastic recovery that is done through our friends over at Plastic Bank. 8 million plastic pieces find their way to our seas every single day but events like this can make a difference and prevent further pollution<\/strong>.<\/p>

Recovering and recycling with Plastic Bank<\/strong><\/h3>

Our friends at Plastic Bank have removed over 55.3 million<\/strong> kilograms of ocean-bound plastic. They have recovered enough plastic to circle the Earth with straws thousands of times.<\/strong><\/p>

Plastic Bank projects pay collectors to remove waste from coastal communities in places like Haiti, the Philippines, Indonesia and Brazil. Their collectors gather plastic waste from streets, households, and informal dump sites, properly disposing of plastic waste before it ends up in the ocean. The plastic is recycled and reborn as Social Plastic to be remade into new products as part of a closed-loop supply chain.<\/p>

As well as stopping plastic waste from polluting our oceans, Plastic Bank<\/em><\/strong> <\/em><\/strong><\/a>are a social enterprise building a regenerative society with their ethical recycling ecosystems.<\/em><\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>
